ABOUT THE TRAMSHEDS:
The Tramsheds Function Centre is an iconic Launceston venue with multiple function areas & a 400-seat Auditorium, in the middle of the bustling Inveresk precinct. Offering flexible spaces for weddings, events, conferences, and shows, we have a regular client base who return again and again!

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are searching for an experienced FOH team member, who enjoys working with people and is willing to take on more responsibility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operation of events.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing conference & events daily operations, actively participating as a hands-on leader with a small team of staff.
Work according to provided run sheets & floor plans, and respond to any requested changes to ensure seamless delivery
Communicate with the Venue Manager & Duty Manager on all matters regarding event operations and service
Train & develop team members in the set up, execution, and pack down of events & event spaces
Provide a supervisory presence at all time by assisting with the handling of guests’ needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently.

You will be an energetic, positive and guest-focused individual with a can-do attitude. You love the energy the Hospitality industry brings and are excited to be creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Essential criteria:
Must have proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in supervisory roles
Flexible availability to accommodate a varied work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Well-developed organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation and a keen sense of urgency
Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situations
High standard of personal presentation
Hold a current RSA certification
Desirable criteria:
Coffee making, bartending, and food handling experience is an advantage
