The Fullerton Hotel, in the heart of Sydney, is looking for Casual, part time, and Full Time Food and Beverage Attendants to join our passionate team. You will be the face of our friendly service, be the master of multi-tasking and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is an award-winning deluxe hotel set in the heart of Sydney's fashion and finance district. Part of the redevelopment of Sydney's historic General Post Office on Martin Place, this luxurious hotel is surrounded by Sydney's most exclusive designer shopping, best restaurants, theatres and nightlife. Uniquely combining Sydney's original General Post Office building with a modern 31-story tower, the hotel has 416 rooms and suites. The hotel offers impressive event and banquet facilities featuring a highly flexible and sophisticated pillar-free hotel ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a seated event, as well as a Victorian-style ballroom and eight smaller function spaces.

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney currently has a number of positions available within its extensive Conference & Events Department (Banquets) Based upon performance, there may also be full-time Team Leader and Supervisor roles available in due course for career progression.  

About The Role 

• Provide naturally friendly Food and Beverage service to guests
• Setting up for all meetings and events from a small boardroom meeting for 10 to a 1,000 pax Grand Ballroom high profile event 
• Setting up refreshment stations for morning and afternoon teas
• Restocking mis-en-place
• Setting up furniture and setting tables 
• Attend to guest requirements and carry out duties when and as required.
• Provide a warm, friendly and professional F & B service at all times to hotel guests and fellow colleagues.
• Understand and implement all legislation in regard to the Responsible Service of Alcohol.

The successful candidate must have:

• Previous experience in Food and Beverage service, ideally in a luxury hotel environment preferred but not essential, we can show you how it's done!
• Strong and confident communication skills with a passion for customer service and for creating special experiences.
• Excellent personal presentation
• Availability to work a variety of shifts over a seven-day rotating roster.
• Sound beverage knowledge.
• A current NSW RSA certificate.
