Location: Moruya Hospital


The Opportunity

We are currently searching for motivated team players as Food and Cleaning Assistant at Moruya Hospital.

Working across a seven-day rotating roster, in this position, you will be responsible for order taking, meal assembly, meal preparation and distribution of patient meals, recording intake, dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties and waste management.

If you do not have relevant experience but are a customer service-focused, independent worker with sound computer literacy skills, we want to assist in helping you gain meaningful employment within our supportive team and encourage you to apply today!

Eligibility Requirements

  • Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description.
  • Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa.
  • This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 11) for a complete list of required vaccines. During application, please upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance

All NSW Health workers must provide evidence of a COVID-19 primary vaccination course (2 doses) which have been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the COVID-19 vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate if received in Australia, or overseas records from a legitimate source.
