Situated a short drive from the excitement of Surfers Paradise and under an hour away from the bustling Brisbane CBD, Hope Island Golf Course is the centrepiece of Hope Island Resort.
We have opportunities available for casual Food & Beverage Attendants to work various hours throughout the week, including weekend and some evening work, in our Bar, Cafe and Event spaces. At Links Hope Island we are host to a large number of golfers on a daily basis, along with hosting corporate events, weddings, functions, conferences and events. The successful applicants will be able to provide exceptional customer service and have a wealth of prior food and beverage experience.
Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant must possess the following:
• Previous Food & Beverage experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (hotel or resort environment is preferred).
• Current RSA certificate is essential.
• Superior wine and cocktail knowledge highly desirable.
• Barista skills.
• Sensational customer service.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and impeccable grooming that would be expected in a corporate setting is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.
• Positive outgoing attitude ready to do what it takes to get the job done.
