The F&B attendant must be a passionate and vibrant hospitality professional who is eager to demonstrate and further develop their customer service skills across a wide range of food and beverage operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creating exceptional guest experiences by providing great customer service and memorable moments
· Breakfast service including buffet and a la carte, and maintaining presentation of the restaurant
· Event service including assisting in the set-up/break down of event spaces and daily Food & Beverage service as required
· Dinner service including leisure and event bookings in the restaurant and function spaces
· Explain the menu and beverage list to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages
· Efficiently taking orders and serving Food & Beverage for restaurant and function spaces
· Use Tevalis POS to place orders
· Liaise with the Kitchen team regarding special requests
· Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
· Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
· Working collaboratively with the hotel team across departments to ensure smooth running of service periods
· Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practises
