Kaptans Restaurant is one of Mt Buller's most famous venues, featuring traditional European alpine ambience, with wood carvings and artefacts depicting Mt Buller’s and the hotel’s history. The restaurant is renowned for providing a consistently outstanding menu featuring innovative Australian cuisine with a twist on old favourites and some classic Austrian specialties, as well as competent, friendly front of house service.
The successful candidate will -
- Be well-groomed, motivated, have a great attitude and a passion for delivering excellent levels of customer service.
- Have a good attention to detail, be willing to work as part of a team or individually and be able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Be fully experienced in fine-dining a-la-carte food and beverage table service.
- Be familiar with using POS ordering systems and taking orders from customers.
- Be able to multi-task and stay calm and focused in busy or challenging situations.
- Hold a current Victorian RSA certificate (responsible service of alcohol) or have one that is recognized in Victoria or transferrable.
- Be available for immediate start to end September
