About the position
The Wests Group are currently seeking a casual Food & Beverage Attendant to work 4-5 nights a week in our award-winning restaurant Chophouse Grill (Wests New Lambton) and also our late night bar - The Marble Bar (Friday & Saturday only). This role will primarily focus on mixing the beverage and providing wine pairing knowledge to our guests dining in the restaurants.
We are seeking passionate Food and Beverage staff with table service experience gained within a restaurant environment. To be considered for this opportunity, good knowledge of wine, or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting, as well as experience in mixing a wide variety of cocktails, will be highly regarded.
- Provide friendly customer service
- Preparation and service of cocktails and other alcoholic beverages
- Cleaning of workstation and equipment
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Operation of tills and cash handling
- Collect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaning
- Assist is the preparation of our cocktail menu
This position will require availability on Friday nights and weekends, with reasonable availability Monday to Thursday. As this position is key during peak periods for our venues, shifts are rostered from the evening through to early hours of the morning.
Certifications required: RSA

- Demonstrated experience working in fast paced bar environment.
- Excellent cocktail knowledge
