About the Role

The Food and Domestic Assistant will be a valued member of the Mental Health Services team at the Willows Slow Stream Recovery Unit and will be required to provide an efficient and effective Food and Cleaning Service in accordance with Infection Control Procedures, AWH Cleaning Procedures  and  the  AWH  Food  Safety  Plan  for  Patients,  Staff  and  Other Identified  Clients:  this includes linen distribution / collection and waste collection within the facility.  This position entails weekday shifts, weekend work and public holidays.

Demonstrated commitment to the provision of high level quality and customer focused services.. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cleaning, Food Safety and Infection Control Principles.
  • Ability to maintain a physically active routine.
  • Confirmed experience in a Food and a Cleaning services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to Work independently and as part of a team.
