About us
Rich Glen is a family-owned Olive Enterprise located in Yarrawonga, Victoria. With 36,000 olive trees, they annually harvest their olives and operate a state-of-the-art processing facility on their farm. In addition to producing over 200,000 litres of extra virgin olive oil annually, Rich Glen offers a diverse range of 85 food-based products, including premium oils, dressings, sauces, cordials, jams, and more. They also have an extensive collection of cosmetic skincare products. Rich Glen manages the entire production process, from research and development to manufacturing, packaging & distribution. With a strong focus on quality, value and delivering a remarkable in-store customer experience, Rich Glen currently operates two retail outlets in Yarrawonga, with a third opening in Echuca in Q4 2023.
Qualifications & experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional culinary or food production education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and carry items as required in a production setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Detail-orientated and able to multitask.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Food Production: Assist in the manufacturing and processing of various olive-based products, including olive oil, infused oils, table olives, and other gourmet offerings according to established recipes and production guidelines.
- Packaging: Prepare and package the finished products, ensuring proper labelling, sealing, and adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality during production, reporting any defects or inconsistencies to the production supervisor to uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
- Equipment Operation: Operate food production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and notify supervisors of inventory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the production team and other departments to achieve production targets and meet company goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Delivery of Stock between Warehouse and multiple retail locations in Yarrrawonga & Echuca.
- Prepare Wholesale orders in our New Warehouse for local couriers to pick up.
