Food Production Workers

We are currently seeking dedicated On-Call Food Production Workers to join our team. We offer opportunities for spare shift work, providing flexibility for those seeking part-time or additional hours. Our clients are proud Australian manufacturers of food and beverage products, specialising in seafood and chicken manufacturing items, located in Melbourne's Western and Northern Suburbs.
  
Positions: Multiple on-call and spare shift positions available for day and afternoon.
  
Locations: Laverton North, Broadmeadows, Thomastown, Coolaroo & Mill Park.
  
Hourly Rate: Starting from $29 per hour.
  
Duties:

• Assist with production line operations.
• Pack products, including seafood and chicken manufacturing items, from conveyor belts.
• Operate machinery for seafood/chicken processing.
• Dispatch orders, including seafood and chicken shipments.
• Remove damaged or poor-quality products from the line.
• Palletise seafood/chicken products.
• Sort and conduct quality checks on all food items.
• Contribute to new product development, especially in the seafood and chicken categories.  

Requirements:

• Good time management skills.
• Previous experience in a food factory, ideally in a similar role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in seafood and chicken processing.
• Comfortable working with meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Ability to work in a cold environment, as required in seafood processing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift 15 to 20kg.
• Flexibility with starting and finishing times.
• Full work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
• Must have a car and valid driver's license.
