Established in South Australia in 2005, our client started as a fresh yoghurt retail shop and has grown into one of Australia’s most respected dairy brands, producing thick, creamy yoghurt made from locally sourced Australian milk. Today they are well known for their contract manufacturing and are a respected manufacturing partner in dairy and non-dairy products for many local and international businesses. Our client has Dairy and Non-Dairy processing capabilities with the facilities and the expertise available to custom-make products to meet specific needs including filling cups, foil and lids, RTD bottles, sachets, buckets, as well as drums and pallecons.
Responsibilities
- Independently operating food processing machinery.
- Accurately following product making procedures
- Ensuring product quality through high attention to detail and quality testing.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving.
- General and periodical plant and equipment cleaning.
- Completing paperwork accurately, neatly and consistently throughout every shift.
- General food processing and packaging.
Requirements:
- Prior experience within the Food production industry is a must.
- Hands-on experience in Food production.
- Must be open to working on a rotating roster when needed. Days/afternoons/nights
- Able to handle heavy lifting when needed.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
- Quality Focus: Proven track record of maintaining high production standards.
- Ability to analyse and report on data.
