As our Food Safety Supervisor, you’ll be the orchestrator of culinary delights and impeccable service, setting the stage for memorable dining experience within our vibrant community. From menu planning to overseeing dining operations, your creativity and leadership will transform mealtimes into cherished moments for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
- Lead a dedicated team of hospitality staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Ensure impeccable service standards are maintained across all dining and living areas
- Collaborate with residents to incorporate their feedback and preferences into meal planning
- Oversee stock management, budgeting and procurement of fresh produce and supplies to delivery required outcomes
- Prepare, cook and deliver food in adherence with Australian Food Safety standards and dietary requirements of our elderly residents
- Maintain food hygiene and safety practices
- Compliance with OH&S requirements at all times
What makes a difference for us?
- Tertiary Qualifications in Culinary Skills, Chef or other relevant qualification
- Experience in menu development, catering services and Food Safety supervision in a large commercial/residential kitchen setting
- Experience working in a changing environment where priorities can alter based on the day to day needs of the organisation
- Demonstrated experience working within risk management and continuous improvement framework to achieve regulatory and legislative compliance
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to articulate effectively at all levels (both verbal and written) and communicate with confidence and clarity
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain (Mandatory)
- Current COVID Vaccination (Mandatory)
