Food Service Assistant

Part Time - Multiple Positions Available

The Food Services Assistant works in the catering department as rostered. Within the Catering area the role works under the day to day supervision of the Catering Coordinator or Cook to assist in the preparation and delivery of high quality and nutritious meals for patients and residents. The adherence to food safety standards in the preparation and delivery of all food is essential. 

The incumbent will work within a team environment and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, residents’ families and other customers.

Key Selection Criteria

• Commitment to resident/customer focused serviced delivery.
• Relevant Food Service experience.
• Current Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
