Northpark Private Hospital is seeking Food Services Assistants to join our team. In this fast paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:
· Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
· Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
· Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
· Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
· Provide high standard of customer service
· Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
· Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
Essential Criteria:
· Previous experience in a hospital hospitality setting (desirable)
· Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
· Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
· Excellent time management skills
· Commitment to service excellence.
· Strong communication and customer skills
· Attention to detail
· Work well independently and within a team
· Flexibility / Ability to work early/ late shifts and weekend work
· Available for on call shifts
· Must have a police check dated in the last 12 months
· Must have a Working with Children's Check
· Must provide Serology testing dated in the last 12 months
