Close to all amenities, transport and set adjacent to the picturesque and historic Elizabeth Farm, Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park is an 85 bedded healthy ageing facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and serving meals to residents in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, addressing their needs with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate attitude towards elderly residents and a desire to enhance their quality of life.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
