Estia HealthGlen Waverley is a welcoming and light-filled home offering care to the east Melbourne community. Located on a quiet residential street, the home backs on to Bogong Reserve and is close to local shops and buses, a short drive to the train station.

Estia Health Glen Waverley has exciting opportunities for experienced Food Services Assistants(Kitchenhand Role) to join our team for Permanent Part Time or Casual Shifts (Morning & Afternoon Shifts).

You’ll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do. Here’s what a typical day involves:

• Prepping and serving food and drink.
• Cleaning – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.
• Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
