About the role:
We are looking for experienced and motivated Food Service Assistant to join our supportive team in our Preston Aged Care facility. The shift will be on a fortnightly rotating roster as follows:
- Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday - 2pm-8pm
- Week Two: Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday - 2pm -8pm
You must be able to commit to the above hours to be considered.
As a Food Service Assistant you will contribute to resident’s quality of life and nutrition, hydration and well-being through the provision of quality Food Services
- Maintain routine and variable cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas in accordance with the requirements of the Food Safety Program
- You will be organised and keen to serve, you appreciate and respond to resident needs by listening and communicating well, escalating any concerns as needed, whilst ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained

- Completion of a Basic Food Handlers Certificate (preferred)
- Barista experience essential

- A current Working With Children's check
- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
