HealthShare NSW has an exciting opportunity available for a Food Services Site Manager at John Hunter Hospital, New Lambton.

In this valuable position, you will lead and manage the overarching operational activities and the provision of Food Services to HealthShare NSW customers. You will provide leadership and direction to staff, effectively managing day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations, budget allocation, food safety and quality standards, set timeframes and other key performance indicators.

You will play an important role in maintaining strong customer relations and effective service delivery through fostering a collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, contributing to the development of the site business plan in line with the strategic plan, and overseeing the effective induction and training of staff in line with business systems, policies, and procedures.

About you

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in operating a large customer-focused organisation, with the ability to analyse and develop solutions to day-to-day challenges and adapt to organisational changes. You will have the ability to lead by example, leveraging the talent of diverse teams whilst managing staff in a fair and unbiased way. You have demonstrated experience in applying relevant legislation, policy and professional standards in the areas of food safety and work, health and safety.

You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience and knowledge of budgetary requirements and computer skills including Windows-based programs.
