Foreman / Site Manager - $2M Build - Surry Hills - 40 Hours Per Week
A multiple award winning architecturally designed home builder is seeking a Foreman / Site Manager to join their team to manage an initial $2M apartment renovation project in Surry Hills.  This is for a long-term client so there will be clear communication and you will have support from the Project Manager, Contract Administrator, Leading Hand and Carpentry team. 
  
Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all workers comply with health and safety regulations
• Monitor progress and report weekly to the Project Manager
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resources
• Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team

  
Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in Leading Hand / Site Management 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage a construction project from start to finish
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Good computer skills - business uses Procore
