Our client is a national engineering consultancy company with expertise across multiple disciplines, delivering comprehensive services and innovative solutions tailored to the needs of the development, property, and urban infrastructure sectors. They are currently looking for a Senior Structural Forensic Engineer to join their team in Adelaide.
About the role:
- Performing forensic engineering investigations to assess damages and defects in buildings and civil engineering infrastructure.
- Producing comprehensive technical reports that offer root cause analysis for the identified issues.
- Offering technical expertise and support to various clients, including insurance companies, loss adjusters, lawyers, government agencies, and facility managers.
- Providing expert testimony when required.
- Managing and leading investigative teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, while also identifying new business opportunities.
- Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in the field of forensic engineering
Skills and Experience:
- Holds a university degree in Structural Engineering.
- 5 years of experience or above in Structural Engineering consultancy design.
- Demonstrates a proven track record of structural and civil engineering design experience within Australia.
- Exhibits the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, builders, and other building professionals.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
