New Vacancy – Front Lift Driver – (Bowen) Tenure: Temp to perm opportunityDays & Hours:Average 30 hrs per week however up to 50 hrs for some weeksMonday – Friday 6-12 hrs per daySaturdays: 6-8 hrsPay rate: ORD $39.36/hrAddress: 1 Reynolds Rd & Norris Street, BowenDuties: Front Lift role and moving to RORO and Rear Lift systems later.Operate HR vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions oroperating procedures and company regulationsEnsure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standardPerform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when requiredPerform loading and unloading duties of waste Essential Licence:Heavy Rigid (HR) (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) Licence (as a minimum) Desirable:Experience in the waste industry Ideal candidate:Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to workCommitment to safety Self-motivatedMechanical aptitude Pre Employment Requirements: Both doses of COVID vaccine, Driver History Report, Cleanaway WH&S to be completed prior to commencement (certificate to be presented to site manager on arrival). PPE: long sleeve top, long drill pants, high vis top, steel capped boots
