About the role: 

We are currently seeking Forklift Drivers to join our dynamic team based in Mernda, Victoria. This role reports to the Department B Manager. In this position you will operate forklifts across the department to load and unload mushroom beds from casing lines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with the day to day running of the casing line by maintaining efficiency rates of 200 trays filled and stacked per man hour.
• Maintain the QA requirement of product traceability data.
• Undertake safe loading/unloading of trays from the casing line.
• Undertake safe loading of peat into hoppers.
• Undertake safe loading of casing into hopper.
• Operate all machinery and plant according to documented Safe Operating Procedures.
• Support and comply with the Costa Group Work Health and Safety Policy, including the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace for the protection of all employees.
  

About you:

• Forklift license essential, with minimum 1 year experience.
• Willing to work weekends, working days are Thursday to Monday.
• Competent driver.
• Physically fit and willing to undergo pre-employment medical.
• Basic hand tool knowledge.
