Express your interest in joining our team as a Forklift Driver (Citrus) in Curlwaa, NSW. This position offers a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work in the vibrant citrus industry.
As a Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Moving pallets and other items with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Orientating quality activities around the daily despatch plan, as communicated by the Logistics Manager
- Inspecting packed fruit and documenting inspection outcomes in a timely and efficient manner
- Working closely with the Despatch Hand to ensure effective quality, safety, and traffic control standards are maintained in the despatch area
- Collaborating with Packing Supervisors and QC Supervisors to ensure consistent supervision and training of staff, ensuring worker safety and well-being, and meeting safety, hygiene, quality, and productivity standards
- Required to do other labouring tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Your Skills & Experience:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- MADEC Card and Forklift License
- Experience working in the citrus or other fruit/vegetable industry
- Ability to work extended hours and across both day and night shifts
