Our client provides rail to road, dry freight, refrigerated and bulk freight services across Australia. They have an exciting opportunity for Forklift Operators to join their well-established team on a casual basis located in the Forrestfield area with morning, afternoon and night shifts available, free onsite parking and a competitive hourly rate of $32.61 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + shift penalties applicable.
Key responsibilities:
Loading/unloading trucks, trailers, containers and rail wagons
Use of counterbalance forklift (Gas 2.5T - 5T and electric 1.8T)
Restraining loads
Some manual handling duties
Moving awkward/ugly freight
Opportunities to work in either dry or cold storage environment
Working in a safe manner
Successful candidates will have:
Current LF High Risk Work license
Experience operating a Forklift is essential
Logistics/Rail experience is an advantage
Have flexibility with working hours and availability to work weekends if required
Great punctuality and time management
Ability to work in fast-paced environments
Rights to work within Australia
Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen
Willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
