Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are actively seeking applications for Forklift Operators/Storeworkers to cover the Day Shift based in Pinkenba.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, this permanent Full-time position involves picking & packing customer orders and operating the forklift on day to day basis. If you have worked in a warehouse before or someone considering a career change or someone who wants to start their career in a warehouse environment this position could be for you.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
- Pick and pack orders
- Assemble customers' orders and stack pallets correctly.
- Check orders and raise discrepancies.
- Load/unload vehicles with zippy units.
- General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.
All about you:
- Forklift license (mandatory)
- Have prior experience working in a busy warehouse environment (advantageous).
- A background in food service / FMCG is preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
- Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
