We are seeking Forklift Operators to join us on day shift.
Working Hours
6:00am – 2:30pm
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
Daily Tasks
Loading and unloading trailers, trucks
- Moving goods to designated areas
- Storing goods in racking
- Stocktaking and other administrative tasks relating to incoming and outgoing goods.
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to operate MHE (RF, Counter balance Forklifts)
- Checking loads are secure
- Conduct COR checks
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Being an active, respectful team member that is reliable and honours work commitments
- Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
- Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
- Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.
You will bring to this role
- Capability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
- Proven and previous experience operating forklifts in a similar environment.
- To be able to successfully communicate both written and verbally
- Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
- Good level of fitness are required as you will manually handle up to 15kg
