Sands Fridge Lines are looking for an experienced Yard and Freight Receivals (Dry Dock) Forklift Operator to join a team of essential workers within our business. Responsible for the dry goods and the area they occupy, the successful candidates will use their previous industry knowledge to ensure that our customers freight is efficiently and safely moved through the business.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in loading and restraining freight on Tautliners
- Transport yard experience in freight receivals and truck unloading – experience mandatory
- Minimum 2 yrs forklift driving experience
- Experience in a cold store environment advantageous
- Experience in staging and loading refrigerated pans advantageous
- Understanding of food safety handling and quality control
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with procedures and standards
- Ability to understand and follow procedures and instructions
- High attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workloads
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to the team
- Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual and have a "can do" attitude
- Ability to read and write English accurately
- High level of personal hygiene
- High level of fitness to undertake repetitive manual tasks
