Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are seeking an experienced Forklift LF operator on the Day shift to join our distribution team based in Palmyra, Perth.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Receivals Manager, these full-time positions involve receiving stocks from suppliers, replenishing stock, and picking using fork on a day-to-day basis. If you have worked in a food/FMCG/logistics warehouse before, consider yourself with a great attitude, and have forklift exp, this position could be for you.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
- Receiving and replenishing stock
- Receipt, storage, handling, packaging, and issuing of inventory at the warehouse facility
- Checking orders and raising discrepancies.
- Unload using forklifts and zippy units.
- Picking and packing using forklift as required
- General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.
All about you:
- Hold a current LF license with at least 6-12 months of counter balance experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good numerical and counting skills
- Have prior experience working in a busy warehouse environment (advantageous).
- A good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
- Understand all aspects of OH&S compliance.
- Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
