The Client
Our client is one of Australia’s largest wholesalers of Industrial products having over 20,000 products across a huge range, which includes a large range of work wear.
Due to increased demand, they are seeking an experienced Stores person, who holds a valid High Risk Forklift (LF) License, to join their clothing division team in Forrestfield.
The Role
The role will see an individual undertake an allrounder position within the warehouse. In a broad outline, the successful candidates can expect responsibilities working within goods inbound, dispatch and everything in between.
Reporting to team leaders, the main duties of the role can include;
- Forklift Operating
- Order Picking – Packing onto Pallets-Bulk Orders
- Putting Packed Pallets into Wrapping Machine
- Updating internal Computer Systems for Picked Orders
- Managing the inventory process (Inbound and Dispatch)
- Accurate use of the internal computer systems to generate invoices/consignment notes
- Putting Away inbound goods
- Unloading / Loading Trucks
Our clients use RF Scanners and specialized warehouse software where candidates need to be competent on computers to update the system of Picked Orders & Receivables.
The Candidate
Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with a minimum 1 years Stores person/warehouse experience. Those who have experience within a clothing division will also be highly regarded.
Essential criteria include;
- Hold a valid High Risk Forklift (LF) license
- Full working rights in Australia
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Be physically fit and are able to carry out regular physical tasks

Remuneration
Our Client has Day Shift and Afternoon Shift vacancies. In addition, it may be required that the successful candidate can work an alternating shift pattern (i.e. 1 week of day shift and the next afternoon)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (Optional Weekend work may be available in busy periods)
- Day: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $30,00 + OT – (Casual Rate)
- Afternoon: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- Pay Rate: $34.50 + OT – (Casual Rate)
- Temp to Perm: 3 months on Casual through Staff-Net, then onto permanent employment.
