Forklift Opreator / Operations Team Member

ATT Logistics (ATT) are currently seeking to engage the services of a casual “all rounder” – who can work behind the scenes of our mid-sized transport company, doing admin, PODs, calling drivers, and assisting the allocators – as well as being an experienced forklift operator who can load/unload freight as required throughout the day.  

The role will support the Operations Manager and the team of allocators/planners to meet (and ultimately exceed) our KPI’s and contractual obligations to one of our major customers.  The role will be based at Braeside, with hours of 0730 to 1530 Monday to Friday.

THE ROLE

Primarily you will be responsible for the following daily tasks, but not limited to:

• Load/unload trucks daily, as required (must hold a current forklift license and have previous experience)
• Ensure warehouse is remains organised and cleaned
• An understanding of allocation and scheduling - or be willing to learn 
• Scan and file paperwork/PODs
• Entering data into the transport management system 
• Contacting drivers throughout the day to check in with them 
• Various daily vehicle inspections 

Additionally it is expected that you will possess:

• Excellent time management
• Have a can do attitude
• Fast learner and can work autonomously
• Always follow OHS guidelines
• Ensure that all equipment is kept and maintained to a high standard
• Solid MS Office knowledge
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to engage with a team
• Be very punctual always on time
• Must speak, read and write English
• Must have your own reliable transport as there is limited public transport
