AddressWheelers Concreting Pty Ltd is a construction business operating across QLD. Wheelers Concreting Pty Ltd is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a Full-time position with 38-hour basic weeks.
The Role
We are currently recruiting skilled Formwork Carpenters for a permanent, full–time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Selecting and ordering materials required and prepare layouts
- Making formwork from timber, plywood or plastic and steel as per shop drawings
- Measuring and cutting wood or metal
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
- Safely operating hand and power tools
- Prepared to assist other trades
Minimum Requirements:
- AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field
- Carpentry/ concrete: 2 years (Required)
- Machinery: 2 years (Preferred)
- Construction White Card
Desirable Skills:
- Safety procedures knowledge
- Positive, can do attitude and enjoy working in inclusive team
- Valid Driving License and transport desirable
