The Role
As an integral part of the finance team, you will report to the CFO who is driving change and continuous improvement. In this newly created role, you will provide monthly reports and ad-hoc analysis to senior stakeholders, provide key analysis to aid decision making, prepare commentary and deliver on strategic forecasts.
It will be important to offer a fresh perspective, utilise the technology on hand to drive real insights and to contribute to the goals of the team as well as the organisation. Your regular duties will include;
- Providing insight analysis and commentary on key trends - aiming to predict what will happen and how we should react.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop budget, implement robust forecasting models to predict future performance.
- Drive continuous improvement - using your previous experience to develop and implement new and improved processes.
- Act as a key advisor to senior management on financial implications
- Produce detailed and useful financial models for senior leadership to inform decision making and inform scenario planning.
- Conduct scenario analysis and provide recommendations for growth strategies.
- Preparation of monthly reports and work with tight deadlines around Half Year and Annual reporting
- Lead, manage, develop and grow the team into a high performing FP&A unit
Your Profile
As a CA/CPA qualified professional, you will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant and demonstrable experience in financial planning and analysis. With outstanding communication skills, a strong technical skillset and a growth mindset, you will have all of the tools required to make this role your own.
Demonstrated success in providing key analysis, insights and decision support will be essential. Experience in financial modelling, utilisation of BI tools & using a range of ERP and reporting tools will all be highly regarded.
