Form of workHervey Bay Roof Trusses have been in the forefront of timber and building material supply and manufacture for over 25 years. Due to growth of our Truss and Frame Plant we are looking for an experienced Frame/ Truss Assembler to join the team.
The Position
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Setting up and operating plant and ancillary equipment used in manufacturing wall frames and Trusses.
- Handling wood products including assisting with cutting and measuring timber
- Use of nail guns to assemble frames/Truss
- Pack and load finished products for transportation
- Clean work areas, tools and equipment
The Person
You will be able to clearly demonstrate the following skill set and experience:
- 2+ years working with timber
- Ability to read plans and instructions
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Reliable, keen to learn and able to work unsupervised
- High attention to detail and accuracy
