Health And Medical Practice Manager

As the Health and Medical Practice Manager at IWC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient delivery of high-quality clinical services within the scope of the IWC Medical Centre. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of administrative and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes.
 
KEY DUTIES:
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Oversee day-to-day medical operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with regulations, and adherence to quality standards.
Provide guidance, training, and support to medical staff, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare laws and standards.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in Health or Medical Practice Management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance, quality assurance and regulations such as ISO, QIP, AGPAL or NDIS Q&S Commission.
 
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
A current driver's licence or ability to obtain.
A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
Complete COVID-19 Vaccination Status (as per IWC Policy).
A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.
A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.
*No card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.
