Role Overview
As a Freight Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing tasks across all workflows associated with shipments, including task management, invoicing, transport, and customer interaction. You will provide updates to clients in a timely and professional manner, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Freight Operations, from booking to delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics processes
- Provide prompt and accurate updates to customers regarding their shipments
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all shipments
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Australian experience in Ocean/Air Operations or Customer Service within the freight forwarding industry
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a drive to exceed expectations
- Proficient in CargoWise or similar freight management software
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
