About this opportunity
Reporting to our Development Manager and working daily with the broader Development team who are an innovative group of professionals committed to driving the evolution of our people-management platform. As the Front-End Tech Lead, you will be at the heart of our development initiatives, working collaboratively with a team of developers, designers, and product managers. Together, you'll create solutions that transform the way our clients manage their most important asset: their people.
In a nutshell, this role will see you tasked with the vital role of leading the design, construction, and maintenance of the front-end components of our platform. Your technical expertise with Typescript, React, CSS, and various front-end frameworks and libraries will be the cornerstone of developing a user-centric interface.
Accountabilities for the role will include overseeing the transition from legacy systems, collaborate with back-end tech leads, support the solution architect and guide / align the Dev team to produce secure, scalable software at industry best practices.
Our ideal candidate
To be considered for this opportunity, we are considering candidates with the following:-
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a solid track record in designing and implementing complex front-end solutions
- Familiarity with transitioning away from legacy systems to contemporary front-end frameworks
- Experience in full-stack solution delivery in collaboration with back-end teams
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Typescript, React, CSS, and a variety of front-end frameworks and libraries
- Experience in defining and implementing architectural visions with a focus on front-end technologies
- Skilled in the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and monitoring
- Strong analytical and performance optimization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork approach
- Leadership qualities and experience in guiding development teams
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both technical and soft skills
