The Opportunity

Reporting to the GM - Enterprise Applications and Data Platform, you'll manage, develop and support ERP solution(s) at Aveo. Working collaboratively with internal customers and software platform partners, you will design and implement integrated solutions to achieve availability, architectural, security, operational objectives and manage technical debt within acceptable levels.

You will also support providing high quality services to the Aveo business for infrastructure and application platforms.

You will

  • Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to have a complete understanding of the business processes and the technology that supports the business requirements both for the current solution and defining future vision
  • Leverage technical hands-on expertise to architect and implement ERP enhancements and solutions.
  • Coordinate and implement systems configuration changes to the ERP
  • Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality
  • Support the?Enterprise and Cyber Security Architects with technical expertise and assistance in integrating with and debugging systems used by and associated with the ERP and its processes.
  • Architect and design the ERP environments,?liaising?with IT, Security, and other technical groups?to ensure all integration needs are met and fully implemented as necessary.
  • Work with internal and external technical resources to enable the most effective DevOps processes
  • Identify existing architecture weaknesses and opportunities for improvement on the ERP.
  • Provide advice and action the development of business recovery, disaster recovery and business continuity plan to deliver/ensure system availability, reliability, stability to business needs.
  • Ensure solutions implemented meet cyber and quality control requirements.
  • Support the security maturity of the ERP.
  • Support the move to DevOps and increase levels of ERP automation and CICD maturity.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in IT and/or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of ERP experience, including Technology One
  • CA/CPA qualified (desirable)
  • Experience with AP Automation platform (desireable)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering in Agile environments
  • Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of ERP application architecture and design
  • Demonstrated experience in managing financial systems and implementing systems changes or automating business processes
  • Budgeting/forecasting and billing systems experience (desirable)
  • Experience in system design, application development, software engineering, or other related experience
  • Excellent analytical abilities and troubleshooting skills, combined with being detail-oriented
  • Technical proficiency - developing cloud-ready applications based on open standards, network development and monitoring and cybersecurity.
