About us: Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 8 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone.

Job Information:  Glitch Productions is looking for a highly capable and diligent Front End Web Developer to help bring our website designs to life. You'll be working with our website designers to create websites for our merch stores and main company websites. As we are an animation company, there is a large focus on a pleasing aesthetic and a smooth user experience.

This is a casual position (paid hourly) and you can expect about 15 hours of work per week for the first few months. This would then taper off to a few hours per week as the websites would only require maintenance.

Your duties will include:

• Implementing, updating and maintaining our websites as per web designer direction
• Creating a smooth interactive experiences for users vis Javascript or HTML5
• Adding in and installing external plugins and payment systems into our website
• Modifying shopify and/or Wordpress websites based on client needs
• Creating web hooks between our websites and discord.
• Implementing basic backend database requests

A successful candidate will have:

• Experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS and Javascript 
• Experience in creating smooth Front End Website experience
• Experience editing/modifying existing WYSWIG websites e.g Wordpress or Shopify
• A strong understanding of Front End Web development
• A good understanding of back End Web development
• A good understanding of PHP and SQL

Bonus Skills:

• Back End Web development
• Node stack development experience
