You must have previous hospitality experience !!
We are looking for experienced Floor Staff and Bar staff to work in our restaurant and at Functions/Events. Positions are being offered on full time, part time or casual basis. We are also offering the opportunity for traineeships for our eligible and successful candidates.
As a FOH- You will be responsible for:
- Receiving and confirming walk-in, telephone, and online reservations;
- Managing own section during service;
- Walking guests to their tables and providing them with menus;
- Explaining any daily specials;
- Suggestive selling and upselling to the customers;
- Taking food and drink orders;
- Serving food and drinks;
- Clearing tables and re-setting tables as per standard;
- Assisting in providing an overall excellent dining experience;
- Assistance in bar work ideal – non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, beers, spirits and wines and Barista.
Ideal candidate(s)
- Experience in Front of House ideal, but fear not, we are looking for candidates with the right attitude over experience!
- Wine and Bar experience ideal
- Barista / coffee knowledge ideal
- Confident in POS and Cash Handling
- Able to manage and work a section
- Able to 3-plate carry
- Great interpersonal, team work and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in busy environments
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Victorian RSA
As a Bartender- You will be responsible for:
- Preparation and services of cocktails, beer, spirits and wine and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ensuring bar section is kept up to standard and cleaned as required
- Ensure all fridges and sections are stocked accordingly
- Prepare garnishes as needed
- Assist Front of House team member as needed when not busy
- Serving of meals/drinks to members and guests through effective and clear communication with back of House team
- To notify the Manager where stocks/supplies are low
- Cleaning and polishing of tables, glassware, and cutlery
Ideal candidate(s)
- At least 1-2 years’ experience working within the Front of House section as a Bar attendant.
- Wine and Bar experience ideal
- Barista / coffee knowledge ideal
