Queen Margherita of Savoy is a traditional Neapolitan-style pizzeria & bar in the beautiful beachside suburb of Cronulla. Our constant aim is to deliver an authentically genuine experience - just as you’d find in Naples. A modern drinks offering, tailored to our guests rounds out the menu. We value very high standards both in the kitchen and in front-of-house. We take great pride in our work and love food & booze! We make as much as possible ourselves, in-house, daily from products sources from Italy or best-in-class local produce. Our leaders in both the kitchen and FOH are passionate about the products we make and have a collaborative, easy-going and highly respectful relationship. We do not have a lot of staff turnover!

Day-to-day responsibilities:
Working in conjunction with our long-standing floor manager, Fabio, and junior staff you’ll:
- Manage the reservations
- Set up the restaurant and bar in readiness for dinner
- Prepare for any daily specials
- Guide & develop junior staff
- Greet guests & serve throughout the evening
- Prepare & serve drinks ranging from tap beer, wines, cocktails, mocktails, non-alcoholic, mineral water & soft drinks
- Manage various forms of customer interaction & ordering: reservations, walk-ins, telephone, online, takeaway & delivery (Doordash) using both in-person and technological methods
- In line with our Core Values, trouble shoot any issues that may arise
- Pack down, restock, ordering, reporting & settling of restaurant and till
- Shut down and lock up
- Assist in the on-going development of systems and processes

Who are we?
Lee Carroll is the founder of Queen Margherita. A hospitality “lifer”, Lee, who has recently turned 50, is now transitioning from the kitchen to the office. In 2013, Lee’s passionate for True Neapolitan Pizza took him to Naples, Italy where he studied with the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (True Neapolitan Pizza Association) and worked in the pizzeria owned by the President of this influential body.
Upon his return in 2014, Lee opened the restaurant, and now, we are just about to celebrate our tenth anniversary! This is the fifth restaurant Lee has operated with his wife, Wilson. Lee’s daughter, Jorja has spent years learning the art of Neapolitan Pizza and now is the head Pizzaiola of Queen Margherita.
We have been the grateful recipients of numerous awards and accolades over the years, which has boosted morale, been a magnet for customers and put us in the company of some of the most respected restaurants in the world.
Fabio is our floor manager and has been with the business since day one. He is a native of Naples and a fierce defender of the traditions. Through his passion and expertise, Queen Margherita has garnered a loyal following of customers who are now advocates of our restaurant.
The team is rounded out by Sam and Kiran, both long-term team members and keen for success and growth. We feel we are on the verge of an exciting new chapter of Queen Margherita, we just need your help!
