About the Role:
As a Contracts Manager at Hume, you'll harness your expertise in asset management planning to develop and implement cutting-edge contract management frameworks across our social, affordable, and SDA portfolio. Your role will be instrumental in overseeing contractor management services, conducting rigorous quality assurance activities, and effectively managing Hume's Property Assessment Program.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Spearhead the development and management of best practice maintenance contract management frameworks.
- Facilitate contract performance meetings and cultivate robust relationships with key contractor personnel.
- Lead the implementation and oversight of quality assurance activities pertaining to contract maintenance.
- Manage Hume's approved products register, ensuring its optimal utilisation by contractors for maintenance replacements.
- Take direct charge of Hume's Property Assessment Program, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and attainment of quality outcomes.
- Drive Hume's compliance with contractual and registration obligations through strategic contract and quality management frameworks.
- Conduct routine scheduled contractor audits to ensure adherence to contract and quality frameworks.
- Swiftly identify and address contractual and quality non-compliance issues through effective response actions.
- Maintain comprehensive databases and generate supplier performance reports as needed.
- Foster seamless collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure top-tier service delivery and quality outcomes.
- Champion a professional and positive workplace culture, nurturing an environment of continuous quality improvement and business excellence.
What we look for in you:
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Contract Management at a senior level.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work with diverse communities and management.
- Experience managing contractual commitments with governments and regulatory authorities.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Desirable:
- Significant experience in Quality Assurance at a senior level or willingness to develop skills in this area.
- High degree of financial and budget management and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business, construction, engineering, or relevant industry experience.
