About i.D Blinds

i.D Blinds is Cairns’ leading window furnishing expert. We are a local boutique business, that delivers the service, skills, resources, and prices you would expect of a national store. We are passionate about interior design, creating and providing inspirational window fashion for residential and commercial customers. 

Our Ideal Candidate is someone who enjoys working with people in a team setting, is passionate about outstanding service delivery, and wants to play their part in obtaining the best possible outcomes for every client. We also require the ideal candidate to have the ability to problem solve and show initiative when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating an exceptional first impression for our customers, by providing excellent service to ensure every client has an outstanding experience both in person and over the phone.
  • Build relationships with clients and builders. 
  • Diary management including scheduling in-home and showroom consultations. 
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, such as quoting and product ordering.
  • Ensure the business is presented in its best light, with ambience, cleanliness and a warm and inviting feel.
  • Ensuring the showroom is always clean and tidy.
  • Contribute to marketing activities, including the online presence of our business, ensuring that we maintain clear and responsive two-way communication with all clients on these platforms.
  • Assist in brand perception and repeat exposure by interacting, understanding, and connecting with local builders and industry insiders by delivering thoughtful and meaningful interactions and experiences.

  • A background in customer service
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in diary scheduling and management 
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Great accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Professional presentation, attitude, and demeanour.
