We are seeking a Front of House Supervisor at our Tracks Café located in Queenstown.
This is a full-time hands-on position and requires someone who is passionate about what they do, is not looking to sit still, is a customer focused team player, has experience in busy Café / Restaurant operations and can make a great coffee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food and Beverage Attendant, this is a hands-on role.
- Supervising the FOH Tracks café employees.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service
- Rostering of FOH employees
- Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager with recruitment and training.
- Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring stock, supplies and equipment is available.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with fast paced restaurant/café operations
- Developed Barista skills.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Completed or ability to obtain Food Safety Supervisor training with a Registered Training Organisation in the last 5 years.
- Strong understanding of and strict adherence to HACCP (Food Handling & Safety)
- Capacity to learn and promote attributes of outlet menus (both food and beverage)
- Proficient use of POS
- Experience in a leadership role
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Food Safety Supervisor qualification
- Appropriate Food Handling & Safety Qualifications (HACCP)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- Barista experience
- POS operations experience
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Police check
- Driver’s license
- High level of presentation and professionalism
- Time management skills.
Highly desirable:
- First Aid Level 2
- Previous experience in similar role / environment
- Certificate 2 in Hospitality
