Front Office Receptionist

Riverfront Motel are looking for an experienced  Front Office Receptionist.  Riverfront is located in Rosetta, just north of Hobart, on the Derwent River. Just a stones throw from MONA!  Riverfront has a variety of room types from standard rooms to fully self-contained villas and houses. Riverfront's restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner daily and lunch Thursday to Sunday. To be successful, the ideal candidate will: Enjoy people and the hospitality industry Work well under pressure… Riverfront is very busy at times! Experience in a similar role with a reservation booking system e.g. accommodation, car hire, aviation industry Excellent computer skills Have great communication & rapport building skills Have a positive can-do attitude Be punctual, reliable and well presented Be available to work rotational shifts, including nights and weekends Duties include: Customer service/front desk reception Cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and account invoicing Reservation management using cloud based reservation system Preparation of housekeeping tasks for the following day Open/close of reception desk Other administrative tasks as required Office organisation and tidiness HOURS OF WORK:Casual position available of 15- 20 hours per week/ holiday reliefMix of morning and evening shifts including weekends. Set days/shifts on a fortnightly rotation available.Long term position.
