The ANZ Markets business has products distributed globally across multiple jurisdictions and entities. Global Markets asset classes consist of FX, Rates and Credit, Global Capital Markets, Commodities and Structured Products. These products are distributed across a range of clients and across various locations. Front Office & Client Support has presence in a number of Global locations provide and provide cross product and time zone support.
 
 
The Front Office Support (Assistant Manager) is responsible to support the growing Global Markets Business and to provide support to Front Office Traders and Sales stakeholders in their day to day business.
 
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
 
  • Support the growing markets business in Australia/Asia and provide additional support to the global team and key Front Office and enablement stakeholders.
  • Deal with Front office sales and trade queries around trade lifecycle management including investigating trades booked correctly and in a timely manner to ensure the accuracy and minimise errors
  • Manage and escalate issues and to be pro-active in identifying issues and solutions. Ensure that all services delivered comply with ANZ Group governance requirements, policies, processes and standards and with legal and regulatory requirements.

In addition, you are expected to

 

  • work with other teams in Front Office Support FX, Rates and Credit, in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangalore and other regions.
  • work with other teams in Front Office Support including Client Services, Funding Support as well as other enablement teams including Operations.
  • ensure controls and procedures are adhered to, mitigating operational risks.
  • contribute to fostering a strong collaborative culture and positive team dynamics consistent with the Bank’ Values
 
 
Role Location: Solaris One, Makati City
Role Type: Permanent
Schedule and work set Up: Australian Business hours- Day shift schedules will be adhered to, hybrid work set up

What will you bring?

 
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
 
  • Working knowledge of different asset classes, Foreign Exchange and/or Rates & Credit/ Bonds and Repos will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of middle office processes and the Front Office trading systems including knowledge of Wall Street and/or Murex would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of broker execution platforms will be advantageous such as Markitwire / Bloomberg.
  • Proven experience in financial services with middle office experience
  • Able to influence people to deliver outcomes, build strong working relationships within and across business units
  • Strong customer service ethic, subject to maintaining internal controls
