The Systems Development team is responsible for the development of all in-house development projects, and maintenance of all ESA managed applications.

The role
The Full Stack Developer will support the team with developing new projects and the maintenance of our current education projects and services, that provide resources to support teachers and families throughout Australia.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract (possibility of extension).
You’ll be required to:
- Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and Testers to ensure that all development work meets the agreed-upon standards and requirements
- Create code that is efficient, reusable, and dependable
- Provide an estimate of work for technological solutions
- Create documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code to describe and demonstrate solutions
- Investigate incidents and provide a report for each one
About you
- You have strong experience in software development using technologies such as .NET, Javascript, and Angular 8+
- High-level of organisational skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently within strict deadlines
- Confident communicator and proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
You have experience in the following:
- Linux and Windows server environments
- NGINX and IIS
- MS SQL Server
- Source code management systems (GIT), and Sourcetree
- Search databases such as ElasticSearch
- CI/CD such as Jenkins
- Developing applications using Content Management systems (Umbraco)
Highly desirable working experience with:
- PHP and JQuery
- mySQL, and PostgresSQL
- CMS Sitefinity/Drupal and LMS Moodle/Canvas
- Azure DevOps
- Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office 365 APIs
