About the Role:
SoftLabs is seeking Full Stack Developer for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable and scalable code following Departmental standards and practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Improve and maintain existing software.
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Essential Criteria
1. Demonstrated industry-based knowledge and experience in the delivery of complex large-scale applications and web services using Microsoft technology stacks including:
• .NET Core / .NET 5,6,7
• Experience with Visual Studio 2019 / 2022, Visual Studio Code or Jetbrains Rider
• Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
• C#
• D365 and PowerApps
• Modern software development utilising Microsoft Azure PaaS Services (App Service, Function App, APIM, Service Bus, Azure SQL)
• Modern JavaScript frameworks such as Typescript / JQuery.
• Reactive frontend frameworks including React, Vue or Angular
• CSS frameworks including Bootstrap
• CI/CD Practices
• SQL Server 2014 and later
2. Demonstrated application development experience working on either high-volume transactional systems and/or complex integrated systems.
3. Demonstrated ability to effectively use communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships in a challenging IT environment.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a flair for creating innovative solutions.
5. Experience working in an Agile software development environment and experience using Agile development toolsets.
6. Prior project delivery experience or working knowledge of modern software development utilising Microsoft Azure PaaS Services.
Desirable Criteria
1. Understanding the business context of the Department Employment and Workplace Relations environment
