About the role
Reporting to the Lead Developer, as a Full Stack Developer at Tennis, you will be at the forefront of developing and supporting our cutting-edge data architecture and web application solutions. You will design, install, test, and maintain software systems that enhance the tennis experience globally.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, support and/or improve new and existing Web based API’s and Applications that process diverse multi-media inputs and deliver real-time insights during international tennis events.
- Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to deliver responsive and innovative solutions to tennis consumers.
- Maintain code integrity and organisation, and participate in code reviews.
- Develop technical documentation of systems and interfaces using internal documentation templates.
- Create and maintain unit tests and system tests, ensuring they are automated and integrated within the CI/CD process to guarantee robust and reliable software.
- Work with teams on release management and continuous deployment automation (DevOps) to minimize downtime and errors, ensuring reliable updates and new features.
About you
We are looking for a tech-savvy individual with exceptional programming skills and database expertise, who is passionate about Information Technology and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
What you will bring to the role:
- High-level skills in database design and architecture (SQL-Server 2008+, Cosmos DB) and UML modeling.
- Highly proficient in C#, ASP.NET, VB.Net, MVC, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and Blazor/Razor.
- Demonstrated skills in XML and JSON.
- Working knowledge of Cloud Azure, particularly Azure Functions, WebApps, Service Bus, and Storage Queues.
- Proven experience in building Web Services and Web APIs.
- Experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Working experience with NodeJS environment, TypeScript and React.
- CMS integration experience.
- Highly collaborative nature, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to quickly address and resolve issues, with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication of trade-offs and solutions.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
