JOB PURPOSE:
We’re currently recruiting a Senior Fullstack Engineer who’d love to join the fun! This role will get to work closely with cross-disciplinary squads to create best-in-class digital products for our clients. You are motivated, take pride in excellence and enjoy Backend and Frontend development.
- Work in a cross-functional and agile environment, developing high-quality software and architecture.
- Ensure the technical quality and on-time delivery of digital solutions to meet the client's needs.
- Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
- Review and debug code and perform validation and verification testing where appropriate.
- Ensure effective documentation and communication of knowledge and system processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to fix and improve products.
SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
We are looking for someone with extensive experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can show us examples of products previously shipped. In addition, you’ll have:
- Significant Full Stack Development experience with a focus on back-end development and DevOps. DevSecOps experience is a plus.
- Experience with the AWS hosting environment and associated technologies such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, Route 53, CloudFront, API Gateway, and CDK.
- Strong knowledge of selected programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with C# and Python is helpful.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt. React experience is a plus.
- Worked with Strapi CMS and Node.js
- Experience with serverless, microservices and integrating with third-party systems
- Strong knowledge of data, privacy and application security
- Previously worked in a cross-disciplinary team with experience leading an engineering effort
- Worked in (or familiar with) an Agile environment
- Experience and a keen interest in the overall business context and building great user experiences for clients
