About the CompanyDavidson Technology are currently supporting a Queensland State Government Department to secure an experienced . Net Software Developer to assist with a system uplift project, initially for 6-months.

About the RoleAs an experienced . NET Software Developer, this role will require you to excel in both independent and collaborative work, consistently delivering effective outcomes. It requires you to meticulously uphold and apply software development standards while continuously enhancing knowledge of software process improvement.

An innovative approach will shine through as you develop creative solutions for technical and business challenges, demonstrating proficiency in writing, testing, and correcting application coding. You will actively participate in various operational activities, including projects and new releases, showcases their adaptability. You’ll contribute to the continuous consolidation of software development environments and tools, ensuring efficiency.

A commitment to quality is critical in maintaining registers, logs, and comprehensive documentation, leveraging data analysis for sustained service improvement. You will provide detailed assessments and high-level advice on fit-for-purpose analysis of small technical solutions for business users, identifying integration opportunities with systems that align with business needs. Effective communication with clients to understand needs and evaluate business solutions will be key; collaborating with the wider team, you’ll actively engage in developing and delivering comprehensive solutions and responses to business requirements.

About YouTo be successful, you will be highly proficient in requirements analysis, documentation, and data modelling, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your experience will extend to maintaining and supporting technologies in a 3-tier environment, demonstrating expertise in structured software development processes and a wide range of ICT support functions, including business reporting. With a strong foundation in quality assurance activities, including unit, system, and user testing, as well as change management, you’ll be well-versed in Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2019/2022), including SQL Scripts, and is familiar with Microsoft's SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.

Having the capabilities extend to web application development using C# ASP.NET and . NET C# WinForms, makes you a valuable asset for comprehensive software development endeavours. The BenefitsYou will be offered up to $120 per hour on an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extensions.
